An unforgettable musical journey ! Conducted by the inspiring Grant Llewellyn, we took the stage at the Cadogan Hall in London on October 19, 2025.

We hope you enjoyed the powerful narrative of Shostakovich’s Symphony No.10 and our exceptional soloist Hyeyoon Park performing Brahms’ Violin Concerto. This concert supported the vital work of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

    Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. They’re here for anyone diagnosed with cancer aged 13-24, and their loved ones too.

Grant LEWELLYN

Grant Llewellyn is renowned for his exceptional charisma, energy, and effortless authority in music of all styles and periods. Born in Tenby, South Wales, Llewellyn’s early promise was recognized with a Conducting Fellowship at the Tanglewood Music Center in Massachusetts in 1985 where he worked with Bernstein, Ozawa, Masur, and Previn. We once again warmly welcomed him as our conductor in Cadogan Hall, London October 19, like in October 2022.

Soloist

Hyeyoon PARK

Hyeyoon Park is an artist of outstanding focus and virtuosity, combining effortlessly rich sonority with musical integrity. The youngest ever winner of the ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 2009, she is in demand as both a soloist and chamber musician.

Hyeyoon studied at the junior colleges of the Korean National University of Arts and University of Cincinnati with Professor Piotr Milewski. She also studied with Professor Antje Weithaas at the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin and with Christian Tetzlaff as a Young Soloist at the Kronberg Academy, where she completed her Master’s degree in 2016, which was kindly supported by the Nikolas Gruber Stipendium.
